Many companies have siloed innovation initiatives to develop future product and service lines. But only a few integrate innovation into talent and corporate development strategies. The Innovation Camp program helps “intrapreneurs” inside of companies to step outside of their day-to-day and focus on accelerating their projects in an open learning environment like Silicon Valley.
I was asked to create this program by a client of Swissnex’s who was interested to have employees learn with and from other intrapreneurs in other strategic allied companies. The camp was held in San Francisco over two weeks, with participants from three companies representing four different projects in mobility, logistics, and renewable energy. One of the participants described the camp as “the most significant innovation experience tied to learning” that he had while at the company.
